B is for Bear

Bears are mammals of the family Ursidae. Bears are classified as caniforms, or doglike carnivorans, with the pinnipeds being their closest living relatives. Although there are only eight living species of bear, they are widespread, appearing in a wide variety of habitats throughout theNorthern Hemisphere and partially in the Southern Hemisphere. Bears are found in the continentsof North AmericaSouth AmericaEurope, and Asia.

A is for Alpha

Alpha (uppercase Α, lowercase α; Greek: άλφα) is the first letter of the Greek alphabet. In the system of Greek numerals it has a value of 1. It was derived from the Phoenician letter Aleph Aleph. Letters that arose from Alpha include the Latin A and the Cyrillic letter А.
In English the noun alpha is used as a synonym for "beginning", or "first" (in a series), reflecting its Greek roots.

SONNET

Best Friend

I'll keep you near to my heart
I'll always hold you dear
Even when we're miles apart
Even when you're here

This heart for you does care
I'll listen to your fears
This heart for you will always share
I'll comfort your falling tears

You mean so much to me
I'll never walk away
You never turned your back on me
I'll always stay

Now and until the end
You will be my best friend
